Super Seeds Learning Centre and Creche was started 5 years ago to serve the labourers in our area.  Over the years many kids have come and gone, in and out of Delhi with their parents and we have had the privilege of loving them while they have been with us. There have also been those who have stayed.  Their mums are sweepers or domestic servants and their fathers drive rickshaws or fix people’s shoes.

There are 45-50 who come regularly, the Centre is open from Monday to Friday with 7 full time caretakers who are there to love the kids and to teach them. We teach them basic English, Hindi, Maths, manners, the facts of life and of course about Jesus.

They all get a good breakfast and lunch and are assisted with any medical problem their parents can’t take care of. We provide them with clothing, and bathe and de-lice them (which is often necessary).

Our dream is that these children and their families will serve Jesus and become the seeds that will bring the Gospel of the Kingdom to their villages who have never heard of His name.

Super Seeds is a ministry to the poor initiated by the people of Capital City Church in New Delhi.  It is funded and prayed for by those who have seen it and fallen in love with the kids and the work that is going on in the family’s lives as a result of it.  A Hindi church and cell has grown out of it as well as a domestic training course (Maid of Honour) for unskilled and uneducated mums.
